INTERVIEW: Young Sentinel Launches Out of the “GATE”

Connect--But, be very careful

An Introduction to a young cyber-software developer looking to help us be more secure

Frank is a budding young programmer looking to take his work in the cybersecurity community globally

This is from an interview August 11, 2018

From Min (Frank) Ni:  “Three years ago I watched a PBS TV show called “Rise of the Hackers”, in which it talked about the vulnerability of the Internet and said traditional password is a weak link in cyber security. Since I’m a software [ Java ] developer, I thought I might do something about it in my spare time and help to fix this problem, so I came up with a solution called the “Graphic Access Tabular Entry” (GATE) to overcome this weakness.”
“I think safety of the digital world affects all of us, and we should all contribute to the efforts of having a more secure Internet, each person’s effort is like a drop of water, it may not amount to much by itself, but if all of us work towards a common goal, then billions of drops of water will definitely be a strong force.”
“Since the invention of the GATE system, it has received recognition from all over the world. In the last 8 months, it has won the following awards. GATE won “Cybersecurity Innovation Award” at 2017 International Cyber Security and Intelligence Conference. GATE won “Global Excellence Awards” at 2018 Info Security Products Guide. GATE won “Cyber Excellence Award” at 2018 National Cyber Summit.”

GATE is an interception-resistant user authentication system, which means even if someone sees you when you log in [ assume he sees every detail of your authentication ], he won’t know what your password is, and even after you login in front of him successfully 2,3 times while he watches [ records your entire authentication process ], he still won’t be able to steal your password. There is detailed information on my website, and you can try it on the live demo site to see how it actually works.
